Installation of new office bearers of the Lions Club of Shirva-Manchakal

Shirva, 13 July 2010:  The installation ceremony of the newly elected members of the Lions Club of Shirva-Manchakal for the year 2010-11 was held  on Monday, 12th July 2010 at the Hotel Milan.The newly elected members are: Ln Mario Mathias as President, Ln. Ramanand Shettigar as Secretary  and Ln. Gabriel Menezes as Treasurer. MJF Ln. Ishwaar Shetty was the chief guest and Ln. Ranjan Kalkura, Ln. Devadas Hebbar and Ln. Ravindra Shetty were the guests of honour.

The Chief Guest, MJF.Ln Ishwar Shetty addressing the gathering recalled the meritorious service rendered by the Lions Club of Shirva-Manchakal and narrated the all-round development of the Lion District. 

Following the installation ceremony of the new office bearers, the newly elected President, Mr. Mario Mathias assured to continue all the good work that is being done by the Lions Club of Shirva-Manchakal  and also implement new schemes and services as and when needed.

The installation function concluded with a vote of thanks by Ln. Ramanand Shettigar, the newly elected Secretary, followed by a fellowship, dinner and personal interaction among the guests and members. The programme was compeered by Ln. Ronald Menezes who in his inimitable style conducted the function.
