Abu Dhabi: Amazing Display of March Past and Dances @ ADIS Republic Day Celebrations

Abu Dhabi, 27 Jan 2013: Abu Dhabi Indian School students put up an impressive display of March past and beautiful dances during Republic Day Celebrations held at ADIS ground on Saturday.
On the occasion Padmashree Dr. B.R. Shetty quoting from President Pranab Mukherji’s address to the Nation on the occasion of Ribublic Day “ Education is the ladder that can help those at the bottom to rise to the pinnacles of professional and social status. Education is the mantra that can transform our economic fortunes and eliminate the gaps that have made our society unequal. “ said that ADIS is giving utmost importance to education and as in process of building additional building more than 11,000 students in the coming academic year. He said there has been always complains from parents on non-availability of admissions to their children but this year this issue will be solved he said on the occasion. He praised the Board of Governors for their dedication to improve the facilities at the school and ADIS is now one of the best schools of Abu Dhabi.
Earlier a warm welcome was accorded by students of ADIS to HE M.K. Lokesh, Ambassador of India to U.A.E., Padmashree Dr. B.R. Shetty (Chairman – ADIS), Mr. V.K. Mathu (Advisor – ADIS), Mr. N.C. Vijayachandra (Principal, ADIS), Mr. Sudhir Kumar Shetty (COO-Global, UAE Exchange), Mr. Sarvotham Shetty (President, Abu Dhabi Karnataka Sangha), Board of Governors and many other dignitaries.
Principal Mr. N.C. Vijayachandra welcomed all the dignitaries and accorded them a warm welcome. HE M.K. Lokesh read the President Pranab Mukerji’s national address on the occasion of Republic Day and hoisted the National Flag and the students of ADIS sung National Anthem.
It was then the grand March Past began, a display of finest march past, synchronizing moments, amazing display of Tri-colours of Indian Flags by three departments, Army, Navy and Air. The audience and parents enjoyed the wonderful show put up these students for about an half an hour applauded them with thunderous applause through out. It was an indeed a marvelous display of talents, and clinical finish.
Another highlight of the day was a wonderful presentation of National Integration Patriotic dance by boys for a song and a folk dance by Class VI girls.
In addition a few patriotic songs were sung by students and the program ended with a “ Taqat Watan Ki“ another patriotic song by Class IV boys.
