Abu Dhabi: ADIS Students put up a magical cultural show at the 39th School Annual Day

Abu Dhabi, 20 Jun 2014: It was an amazing magical performance from the tiny tots to the high school students that mesmerized the parents and general audience during Abu Dhabi Indian School 39th Annual Day. The extravaganza event was held onThursday 19th June 2014 at ADIS main Auditorium.
More than 3000 people watched in amazement the dances, skits, bands and cultural shows put up in a three hour show. The annual day celebrations began at 5pmarrival ofPadmashree Dr. B R Shetty Chairman ADIS and MD NMC Group. He was accorded a warm welcome with floral bouquet by ADIS Executives.
Prior to the programme UAE & Indian National Anthem playedand continued with Recitation & Translation of Holy Quran.
Abu Dhabi Indian School, Abu Dhabi UAE is a premier community school in the Gulf, could well be considered a twin of this youthful nation which came into being in the year 1971. The school is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi, India C.B.S.E Delhi, and is recognized and licensed by the Ministry of Education, Private Section, Abu Dhabi Zone - Ministry of Education, Abu Dhabi, U.A.E.
Principal Mr. N C Vijayachandra Welcomed VIPs, Guest, and huge audience to the programme and wished great success. He also presented detailed annual report which highlighted various academical, sports and extra curricularacitivies of the students and achievements and recognitions and awards. After the speech a beautiful Arabic dance performed by senior girls which received huge applause from audience.
Chief Guest Dr. B R Shetty presented Prizes, Trophies and Medals to the achievers, in his speech he explained success comes from the hard work, honesty, will power and humbleness only knowledge is not enough to get achievement, need smartness also he remembered all the people who is behind ADIS success and he thanked UAE Rulers for their great support. He also requested the students to develop friendship with other students which is a foundation stone for their future as it is very important we keep in touch with each for our over all growth. No one can leave in isolation in this world, we need friends to cherish the good memories we spent in school he stressed.
Various cultural events enthralled the audience such as Flute Dance, Five Elements, Cinderella, Garba Dance, Bhangra Dance, all girls Band and group singing were beautifully performed, performance of “ Precious water Drops “ and “ Cinderella “ was mind-blowing. Programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Vice Principal Mr. Clemente De souza.
