Annual Feast Celebrated In Holy Cross Church, Pamboor

Padubelle, 12 Dec 2012:  The Annual Feast of the Holy Cross Church, Pamboor was celebrated on Wednesday, December 12, 2012. Prior to the Holy Mass. Parish priest Rev.Fr.Charles Lewis honored the sponsors (Mud-dhom) of the feast by presenting them candles of honor.

 

The solemn Feast Mass started at 10:30am with Rev.Fr. Leslie D’Souza, parish priest of St. John the Evangelist Church,  Shankerpura as the main celebrant along with Rev.Fr.Charles Lewis and Rev.Fr.Stany Tauro as the co-celebrants and other priest from the Shirva Varado.  The choir rendered melodious atmosphere to the annual feast.

Rev.Fr.Leslie in his Sermon spoke about the importance of the Cross in our day to day life. After the mass parish priest thanked everyone for their support and extended the greetings of the feast. Rev.Fr.Stany Tauro, Dean of Shirva Deanery also wished the parishioners a happy feast. Hundreds of parishioners and people from nearby parishes attended the feast.
