Good to have such book exhibitions. But it will be a waste of time and energy when you hold such exhibitions in Moodubelle. why I say like this, yes our Moodubelle people and particularly the Christian families are not bothered about books, literature, culture and togetherness. What Moodubelle people are best at is to build big houses sorry bunglows, have a eight feet high compound wall (so that no one should see the inside world), have parties, watch countless TV serials, give their children sophisticated bikes to roam around and waste money. Show me how many writers, poets are available in Moodubelle. Hardly one or two who also reached fame only because they are out of Moodubelle. We Moodubelle people do not not how to encourage talent, unite, value books, literature, do not have any vision. We do not attend cultural functions, do not get together, do not participate in political events .... but call for a marriage or eating, you will get many. Our so called intellectual people do not involve with common people as they have their own dreamland. So please do not waste your time in Moodubelle, a land where people are bothered mainly with artificial happiness. |
