Youth not keen on joining politics: Krishna Bhairegowda

Belthangady, 29 Sept 2012:The nation is progressing on all fronts, thanks to its youth force which constitutes 50 per cent of its population.Still, the youth are not showing enough interest in politics, said State Youth Congress President Krishna Bhairegowda.
He was speaking at a seminar on youth leadership on the second day of the Karnataka Yuvajanotsava 2012-the eighth three day Regional Catholic Youth Convention under the aegis of the Youth Commission of Karnataka Regional Catholic Bishops Council and Youth Indian Catholic Movement of Belthangady Diocese, on September 29, Saturday at the Holy Redeemer Church premises, Belthangady.
Youth can play a pivotal role in solving several of the pressing problems confronting the society, he said and called upon youth to have a great vision for a strong India.
Congress Leader JR Lobo also spoke on the occasion. The seminar was followed by an interactive session with the participant youth. Henry D Souza, Bishop of Bellary, compered the programme.
