M’lore: Jawaharlal Nehru’s Death anniversery remembrence

Mangalore, 30 May 2012: On the occasion of death anniversary of Jawaharlal Nehru, all the leaders of Congress party were assembled at the party District office on Sunday to pay respect to Jawaharlal Nehru. They paid respect to the leader by putting garlands on his statue to commemorate the death anniversary of Cha Cha Nehru.
Congress leader and KPC Gen Secretary Mr. Ivan D’Souza spoke on the occasion and said that Jawaharlal Nehru has contributed to the society tremendously especially in the field of education to children. He saw that proper education system is maintained and all children go to school for education and to develop. He further said that Nehru was instrumental in the development of the agriculture based nation and put all his efforts in this field as well.
“ Today we remember him and I am proud to say that by his good and hard working example the Congress party will strengthen the country and work for development of the nation.
Mr. Suresh Ballal also spoke on the occasion and said that though Nehru was a rich man, he sacrificed his life for the development of people, education and protection of the nation. His hard work and sacrifice is the result of today’s strong and developed Nation. By remembering his dedication and sacrifice we too must work in the same spirit and prove to the world that India is No.1 nation in the world.
At the end of the ceremony Vote of thanks was invoked and with the remembrances and prayers the death anniversary of our leader Jawaharlal Nehru came to an end.
