Kemmannu: Congress Leaders in Kemmannu – Hoode with election campaign

Kemmannu, 07 March 2012: In the earlier elections the BJP took votes from the people using the name of God and caught hold of the administration, now they are seeking votes on the name of religion, said the Congress leaders during their election rally in Kemmannu Hoode on Tuesday. In the rally Former Central Minister Janardhana Poojary included the workers from other parties into Congress by giving them the flag of Congress Party.
Speaking on the occasion Block Congress President Pramod Madhwaraj said that Congress is such a party, that has done many development works while it was in administration in the state and in the centre and was being appreciated by the people. There are no incidents of our party Chief Minister going to jail. Before when Indira Gandhi was running the government she gave necessary land to the poor. BJP has not done such work, he said. Let this election be a beginning for Congress to take up the state administration. For this vote our Congress Party’s able candidate Jayaprakash Hegde by winning him with majority so that then again Congress can come into the administration in Karnataka he said.
Ullal MLA U.T. Khader, M.A. Gafoor, Jilla Panchayath Member Janardhana Thonse Rajesh Shetty, Grama Panchayath Member Nityananda Kemmannu and Jilla Panchayath member were present. Veronica Cornelio welcomed the guests and the gathering and also compeered the program.
