Moodubelle: Christmas Celebrated by the Syndicate Bank along with the customers

Moodubelle, 23 December 2011: As in the past, the Moodubelle Branch f the Syndicate Bank celebrated Christmas along with its customers and guests on Friday, December 23, 2011 at 9.30 am.

 

Mrs. Blossom D’Souza, Manager of the Moodubelle Brach of the Syndicate Bank who welcomed and compeered the programme, in her introductory remarks traced the origin and development of the celebration of Christmas and said that with the birth of Christ, the world received the gifts of love, peace and compassion. People spread the message of Christmas by distributing gifts and sweets.

 

 

The Christmas celebration  was inaugurated by Fr. Lancy Saldanha, Principal of St. Lawrence English Medium School by lighting the lamp and cutting the Christmas cake. In his message, Fr. Lancy said that Christmas is the celebration of God taking the form of man and being born in a humble way. He wished all present for the programme peace and happiness.

 

The programme was attended by Raphael Aranha, headmaster of the Church Aided Higher Primary School, Mrs. Chandrakala-lecturer of PU College, Dr. Koradkal, Mrs. Helen D’Souza and the staff and customers of the bank. Sudhakar Hegde, Assistant Manager of the Bank proposed the vote of thanks.
