Mumbai: 5th Pauline Book Fair from December 4

Mumbai, 28 November 2011: Pauline Book and Media Centre, Vasai run by Daughters of St. Paul nuns are organising their 5th Pauline Book Fair from Dec 2nd to Dec 12th near Bishops House, Vasai West. "Various categories of books from simple topics like read and colour fo kids to Novels for grown ups, General Knowledge, Spirituality, Biblical, Biographies, Medicine, Home Craft, Health, Cookery and many more to interest the public will be kept for exhibition and sale, to cater people of all walks of life" said Sr. Gloria and Sr. Stella from the centre. "We have taken lots of time and pain to select and collect books from various topics awailable around the globe." they said.

 

 

At the core of this Pauline Apostolate of the Media, initiated by Blessed James Alberione in the year 1914, is to serve people by offering them value based literature that can help transform people and so uplift society.

This annual media event is organised to enable a wider section of society to benefit from buying wholesome, value-based literature under one roof selected from the best of authors and titles. Besides, every book purchase will carry a discount.

The book fair will be open from 9am to 9pm daily. CD’s, VCD’s, DVD’s to inspire, entertain, and enrich will also be on display.

There will be a special programme for children with the certificate for the winner 1. Painting competition on Sunday, 4th  Dec, at 4pm for 1st to 3rd classes 2. Bible Quiz competition  for Catechism chidlren on Sunday, 11th Dec, 4.30pm
