SVP Foundation members Visit Spandana and the Home of Faith

Udupi, 03 April 2010: The Prsident and members of the SVP Foundation visited the ‘Home of Faith’ and  Spandana ‘Home for the Special Smiles’ near Kemmannu on the eve of Good Friday and shared some moments with the innocent smiles of the school children.

President Donald Saldanha welcomed all and Secretary James D’Souza also spoke on this occasion. As a  token of gesture on the day of Good Friday foundation donated rice and fruits to the management of the Spandana.

On behalf of Spandana, Mr Janardhan received the items and thanked the President and all the members of St. Vincent de Paul Foundation.

Following the visit to Spandana, the members of the SVP Foundation visited the Home of Faith in Shankarpura where people rejected from society are treated with utmost care. The Foundation donated clothes and rice to the inmates of  the Home of Faith. Brother Francis (Babu) welcomed all and received the items donated by the Foundation and thanked the President and members for their generosity

The Secretary of the Foundation, Mr James D’Souza proposed the vote of thanks. Besides the President and the Secretary, other members including Mr.Prakash Andrade, Mrs. Seema Saldanha, Mrs. Lenny D’Souza  and Mr. Jason D’Souza were
present on the occasion.
