Renovated Sheshashayana Hall of Kidiyoor Hotel Inaugurated

Udupi, 30 March 2010: While inaugurating the newly renovated Shesha Shayana, Anantha Shayana and Pavan Roof Top Hall of the Kidiyoor Hotel, the Swamiji of the Pejavar Mutt, Shri Vishwesha Thirtha said that the Kidiyoor Group of Hotels have played a very important role in the growth of the city of Udupi.

In his address, the former Paryaya Swami and the Pontiff of the Putthige Mutt said that Lord Krishna himself has recommended the Kidiyoor Hotel. Further he said that the proprietor of the Kidiyoor Group of Hotels, Bhuvanendra Kidiyoor has been responsible for giving a new form to the celebration of Shri Krishna Jayanthi as well as Shri Hanuman Jayanthi in Udupi.

Dr. V.S. Acharya, the Home Minister in the Karnataka Government opined that in spite of the competitive modern world, Kidiyoor Hotel has maintained its leading position by providing excellent service to its customers.

A host of dignitaries were present on the occasion of the inauguration of the renovated wings of the Kidiyoor Hotel. These dignitaries include: Raghupathi Bhat-MLA of Udupi, Vinaya Kumar Sorake-former MP, Dr. G. Shankar-President of G.Shankar Family Trust, Mrs. Sandhya Pai-Executive Editor of Taranga Weekly, Herga Dinakara Shetty-Mayor of Udupi, Pramaod Madhvaraj-Industrialist of Malpe, Vaikunta Kamath-President of District Hotel Owners’Association, Indrali Jayakar Shetty-Managing Director of Badagubettu Credit Cooperative Society, Jerry Vincent Dias-Head of Mandavi Developers, Purushottama Shetty-Industrialist, Vasant Nayak-Vice Chairman of the Syndicate Bank and others.

The proprietor of the Kidiyoor Group of Hotels, Bhuvanendra Kidiyoor made an introductory speech following which Director Jeetesh Kidiyoor welcomed the guests. Raghavendra Kanchan compeered the programme and P. Ratnakara Kalyani proposed the vote of thanks.
