Kala Kendra organises Ranga Milan in Association with Department of Kannada and Culture, Bangalore

Mumbai ( RBI ), ?24 June: A ’Ranga Samvad’ program was held at the small auditorium of Kannada Kala Kendra recently in the memory of Mumbai’s rare theatre talent Sadananda Suvarna. The program was organized by Kannada Kala Kendra, Ranga Milana Mumbai in collaboration with the Department of Kannada and Culture, Bangalore.
Theatre director Viddu Uchil, who came as a special guest, said that the director was only a mere mention of the theatre. But it is the actors who pass the play on to the audience. But now the actor is not growing strongly. Now there is no commitment to choose theatre. Why is this happening. Viddu asked, "We can find some beautiful artists in Mumbai. It is ironic that the opening act of the play today is stepping into reality shows. Not just for fun. Therefore, the process world of the play before it comes on stage is very important. Today, Viddu expressed regret that the play is a combination of sound and light. Tulu dramas reach a lot of people. They give crores of advertisements to newspapers. But he regretted what such newspapers had contributed to the theatre. Now the theatre artists need to organize and raise their voice. We must all build a strong theater through that. He said that when anything is done to complement the theatre, there should be a clear purpose.
Theatre music director Diwakar Kateel stressed the importance of music in the play in theater performances, which plays an important role in conveying the play to the audience. Theatre music is collaborative to express various emotions and situations. Diwakar Katil HS explains how to play a musical role in silent theatre. Karantara Gokula Nirgamana, Kambarara Sambashiva Prahasana, Nagasampige translated by Narayana Shetty Nandalike, Bisilu Beladingalu and other songs were performed by Venkatesh Murthy.
Kannada Kala Kendra President Madhusudan T. R. Speaking, Sadanand Suvarna is an inspiration to all those who join hands in theatre. He said that the main objective of such programs is to instil a sense of love and commitment among the theater artists.
Dr. Manjunath, Manjunathya, Ranga Poojary, Naveen Shetty Inna Balike, Narayana Shetty Nandalike, Gopal Thrasi, Jagadish D. Rai, A. R. Narayan Rao, Raghavendra Salyan and others participated. Rahim Mumbai Secretary Rahim Sacheripete was present. Ranga Milana President Manohar Shetty Nandalike presented the programme. Center Secretary Ramesh Birthi felicitated.
