Doha-Qatar: A small country in the Gulf, an indoor market in a small space in its capital. The temperature outside the market is 36°C, the atmosphere inside the market is air-conditioned, especially for the king of fruits. This is the second time the mango Hamba exhibition is being organized.

More than 50 shops, about 25 vendors, a two-week festival. Thousands of people come and enjoy, taste, and leave every day. This is the mango fair held at Souq Waqif in Doha, Qatar.

In this indoor area filled with the aroma of many varieties of mangoes, including Rajpuri, Tutapuri, Badami, Nati, Sindoor, and many more, a variety of delicious and juicy mango snacks and drinks, such as mango juice, mango pickles, mango ice cream, mango faluda, and mango lassi, captivated everyone’s senses.

On one side were rows of well-known commercial stores, on the other side were the storefronts of famous food centers, and on the other side were the wholesalers’ shops. People from India, Qatar, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, the Philippines and many other countries had come to taste some of the fruit at this mango fair.

Isn’t it a truly amazing sight? Mangoes imported from Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Telangana, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Goa and other states. The two-week mango fair, organized by the Indian Embassy in Qatar in collaboration with the IBPC (Indian Business and Professional Council), began on 12 June 2025 and concluded on 21 June 2025.
