St. Lawrence English Medium School, Moodubelle Holds Parents-Teachers Meeting

Udupi/M’Belle: The Parents-Teachers Meeting for the academic year 2025–26 was held on 21st June 2025 at Church Auditorium. The gathering witnessed the gracious presence of School Correspondent, School Administrator, Academic Coordinator, PTA President, esteemed members of the Management Committee, parents, teachers, and well-wishers.
The program commenced with a warm welcome by Tr. Vinita D’Cunha, a faculty member of the school, who expressed heartfelt gratitude to all attendees. She emphasized the significance of collaborative efforts between teachers and parents for the holistic development of students.
The dignitaries were invited to the dais, including:

Mrs. Sandra Lobo (Academic Coordinator)
Mr. Stephan Mendonca (Outgoing PTA President)
The meeting opened with a prayer song to invoke divine blessings. Following this, Tr. Rovina Jathanna extended a formal welcome address. Tr. Maria Barboza, presented a floral welcome to the dignitaries and management committee members.
Academic Coordinator Mrs. Sandra Lobo then addressed the gathering with an important intimation regarding the academic schedule and upcoming plans for the school.
Following this, Tr. Chethana introduced the school’s Administrator, CA Prithish Burton D’Sa, who addressed the audience with an inspiring message focused on growth, unity, and student development.
A felicitation ceremony was held in honour of the outgoing PTA President, Mr.Stephen Mendonca ,recognizing his dedication, leadership and valuable contribution to the school community during his term.

One of the major highlights of the event was the election of new PTA office bearers. The following members were elected to lead the PTA for the academic year 2025–26:

PRO: Mrs. Zeenath
The newly elected members were congratulated and assured full cooperation by the school management and staff.
A special time was allotted for open interaction where parents were encouraged to share feedback and offer suggestions.
The School Correspondent, Rev. Fr. George Thomas D’Souza, was then invited to speak. He highlighted the institution’s commitment to values-based education and the role of parents in shaping student success.
As the meeting drew to a close, Tr. Elvina Lobo delivered a thoughtful vote of thanks, expressing sincere gratitude to all the dignitaries, parents, and staff members for their presence and support.

The program concluded with the National Anthem, uniting everyone in honoring the nation.
