Ranga Swaroopa Awards presented to Meritorious Children

Mangalore: The 20th year of Ranga Swarup (R)’s 4-day children’s summer camp concluded and the Ranga Swarup award ceremony was held at Marakada Kunjattabail Government School.

 

Govinda Madiwala, Deputy Director, School Education Department, D.K., inaugurated the program.

 

Speaking later, he said that teaching young children in today’s times is a challenge.

 

There are 1772 schools in the D.C. district. He said that the summer camp organized by Marakada School in collaboration with Ranga Swarup Sanstha is a model for other schools.

 

On this occasion, folklorist, state award-winning retired teacher K.K. Pejawar was presented with the Rangaswaroop-2025 Award.

 

Speaking later, he said that this camp should be a regular camp, that the children should celebrate regularly, and that when they celebrate regularly, more emphasis is placed on education.

Ranga Swaroop Honorary Advisor N. Shivaprakash presided over the program.

 

Ranga Swaroop President Rehman Khan Kunjatbail delivered the introductory remarks.

 

Former Manapa member Sarath Kumar and Marakada Government Primary School Headmistress A. Netravathi participated as the chief guests.

 

General Secretary Subrahmanya Kasaragod was felicitated.

 

Camp Director Zubair Khan Kudla welcomed the gathering, members Taslima Banu and Anisa Sawad read out the award letter, and General Secretary Subrahmanya Kasargod offered the vote of thanks.

 

Honorary President Premnath Marne compered the program.
