Mangalore Diocese Mega Bible Convention Concludes with Healing, Renewal and Deliverance

Mangaluru, March 23, 2025 – The Mangalore Diocese Mega Bible Convention 2025, organised by the Mangalore Diocesan Service Communion (MDSC) and the Bible Commission, concluded on a powerful note at Holy Cross Church, Cordel Grounds, Mangalore, with a deep focus on spiritual healing, deliverance, and family renewal.
Bringing together an estimated 10,000 faithful, including families seeking spiritual growth and divine blessings, the final day of the convention was a profound experience of faith, worship, and transformation.
Praise, Worship, and Eucharistic Celebration
The day began with a stirring praise and worship session, led by Cherian Ramapuram, Coordinator, Karnataka Regional Service Communion (KRSC), filling the atmosphere with prayerful devotion and spiritual fervour.
The Eucharistic Mass was presided over by Rev. Fr Vijay Monteiro, Assistant Parish Priest of Cordel Church, while Rev. Fr Paul Sebastian D’Souza, Assistant Parish Priest of Cordel Church, delivered a compelling sermon, urging the faithful to repent and embrace God’s invitation to live a fruitful and grace-filled life.
The solemn Eucharistic celebration was further enriched by the concelebration of several priests who joined in offering prayers and blessings. Among them were Fr J B Saldanha, Diocesan PRO & Parish Priest of Bejai; Fr Walter D’Souza, Parish Priest of Bendur; Fr Clifford Fernandes, Parish Priest of Cordel Church; Fr Basil Vas, Parish Priest of Vorkady; Fr Andrew D’Souza, Parish Priest of Bondel; Fr Anil Fernandes, Fr Lawrence D’Souza, Fr Santhosh Rodrigues, Fr Nelson Peris, and other priests. Their collective presence added spiritual depth and a sense of unity to the final day’s celebration.
Final Deliverance and Healing Session
As the convention approached its conclusion, Rev. Fr Dominic Valanmanal from the Marian Retreat Centre, Kerala, led an anointed session of prayer for deliverance and healing, allowing attendees to experience spiritual renewal and divine grace.
Rev. Fr Franklin D’Souza from the Karnataka Regional Service Communion provided translation assistance, ensuring that the message of hope and salvation reached every heart.
Families Strengthened in Faith
A special prayer and healing session dedicated to families marked the final moments of the convention. Many faithful experienced deep spiritual healing, while others testified to a renewed sense of peace, joy, and faith within their families.
