Mangaluru: The donation collection office of the Kaup Sri New Marigudi Temple was inaugurated at the Saravu Sri Mahaganapati Temple. Raghavendra Shastri, the administrative officer of the Saravu Sri Kshetra, inaugurated the office and said that everyone should participate in the deity work and receive the grace of Mariyamma. It is necessary to remember Ganapati while starting any work. Therefore, remembering Ganapati at the Saravu Temple, the donation collection office of the southern channel for the Kaup Kshetra was inaugurated in the Saravu Kshetra and the donation collection has been started. From Feb. 25 to March 5, the Brahma Kalashotsava in the presence of the Goddess of Kaup will be held. He said that everyone should participate in this pious work.
Speaking later, Chairman of the Green Wave Donation Committee, Devi Prasad Shetty said that the construction of the temple is going on in accordance with the architectural style of the Kaupuvina Amman Temple, which is the most beautiful religious place in South India. All the facilities have been provided, including a kavachatra, bell, Tirupati-style tower, spacious annachatra, security hundi, museum, high-tech toilet. The work will be done according to the divine command of Mariamman, Ganga water will be brought by a special plane, and 9 types of work will be done during the 9-day Brahma Kalasa. Jirnoddara Samiti has been formed in 18 countries. From Sulya to Mulki, meetings are being held through all the Bhajana Mandals and a program is being carried out to reach all the people.
He said that all the work has been completed as per Amma’s wishes and history will be made on Feb. 25. The temple will be the focal point of the procession coming from all directions to the Sri Kshetra. For this auspicious event, green processions will come from Bantwal, Belthangady, Sullia, Puttur, Mangalore North, Mangalore South and various areas of the district. Kudroli Kshetra Treasurer Padmaraj Poojary requested everyone to participate in this procession and make this program a success and receive Amma’s blessings.
In the ceremony were her brothers-in-law Chittaranjan Bhandari, Dixit Bhandari Ullalaguthu, Chandrahasa Shetty Rangoli, Ullas Shetty Permude, Arun Shetty Paduru, Mithun Rai, Sasikumar Rai Balyottu, Jayaprakash Rai Sulya, CA Shantarama Shetty, Shedde Santhosh Shetty, Padavu Megin Mane Umesh Rai, Balakrishna Shetty Bala, Chandrasekhara Uchila, Sukesh Chowta Ullalaguthu, former mayor Bhaskara Moily, Sudhakara Rao Pejavara, Anand Shetty Thokkuttu, Sandeep Bengre etc. were present.
