Bantwal: The basic aim of Janata Darshan is to respond to the hardships of the people. It is our responsibility to identify the problems, provide solutions and formulate the necessary plans for the district. The state government is proactive in this regard, said Dinesh Gundu Rao, Minister in-charge of D.K. District.
He was speaking while inaugurating the district-level Janata Darshan program, which was held under the leadership of the Revenue Department at the Brahma Shree Narayana Guru Mandir auditorium in Bisrodi.
He said that the main goal of the government is to understand the problems of the people and implement the promises made to the people. Our government has become a model for the country through the successful implementation of guarantee schemes.
People-friendly - call on the authorities..
Officials should realize their responsibility and not behave arrogantly towards the public, but rather be people-friendly.
He said that officials should not show arrogance when ordinary people come to the office with their problems. Even when the problem cannot be resolved under the law, they should behave with patience and courtesy, work with trust, and earn a reputation as a good officer.
In a democratic system, it is our duty to listen to the problems of the people and try to find solutions. People are important, not the government, and therefore, we will work to provide solutions to the problems of the people, he assured. He said that officials will arrive at the spot and take action to resolve the problems of the people.
Bantwal MLA Rajesh Naik Ulippadiguthu, who presided over the program, said, "The District Collector had given information about the program two days ago. It is a good program. But in the last two years, I have made many requests to issue the title deed, but it was not possible due to the government system. Two families came to me and cried for the title deed, but I did not get it," he said.
He also told the minister about not inviting MLAs to the program. He said that he did not do politics on the issue of development. He did not even oppose it.
He said that development is possible only if officials and public representatives work together.
He said that he has worked honestly and independently since becoming an MLA.
Speaking at the event, Legislative Council MLA Manjunath Bhandari said that the main objective of this program is to find solutions to the problems of the people.
