SAMPADA Udupi organizes “Moral and Personality Development” Programme for Educare Students

Udupi, 19 Jan 2025: SAMPADA Udupi organized “Moral and Personality Development” Programme to its Educare Students sponsored by Mr. Michael D’Souza’s Educare Endowment (Revolving) Fund at the Anugraha Pastoral Centre, Kakkunje, Santekatte, Udupi on Sunday, 19 January 2025 from 09.00 am to 01.00 pm. 51 students participated in this programme.
The “Moral and Personality Development” Programme was inaugurated by Mr. Oswald Rodrigues from Bejai Mangalore one of the Advisors to Mr. Michael D’Souza’s Educare Endowment (Revolving) Fund, Resource Person Mr. Aldrin D’Souza from Kundapur, former lecturer of Commerce, Bhandarkars’ Cillege, Kundapur, presently Credit Office in MCC Bank, Kundapur Branch and Dr. Eugene D’Souza-Member of Sampada Educare Committee.
Prior to the inauguration of the “Moral and Personality Development” Programme, Fr. Reginald Pinto-Director of Sampada explained the Aims and Objectives of Mr. Michael D’Souza’s Educare Endowment (Revolving) Fund stressing on the responsibilities of the students and their parents.
Resource Person Mr. Aldrin D’Souza conducted the programme on the theme of “Balancing Life, Education and Social Media” through Power Point presentation, group activities and video clips. Mr. Aldrin D’Souza pointed out how the students can use social media responsibly to enhance their communication skills, build net-working capabilities and as a means to acquire knowledge in their specific subjects. Mr. Aldrin as well as Fr. Reginald Pinto stressed on the importance of acquiring on-line certificate course as add-ons to further their career and get desired employment opportunities. Group activities and group discussion kept the students engaged in the entire programme.
Mrs. Reena D’Costa-CODP Educare Coordinator, Mangalore, Miss. Jannet Fernandes-Compliance and Financial Manager, Sampada Udupi and Miss Preetika Mendonca-Coordinator of Sampada Educare were present.
Following the end of the “Moral and Personality Development” Programme, Fr. Reginald Pinto offered Mass in the Chapel of Anugraha which was attended by the students and their parents.
After a group photograph, lunch was served to all the participants in the programme.
