Ex. MLA Krishna Hegde has to initiate actions against Ponzi scheme operators in Maharashtra

Mumbai (RBI), Jan.11:  Ex. MLA Krishna Hegde has written to Chief Minister Shri Devendra Fadnavis to initiate actions against Ponzi scheme operators in Maharashtra. 

 

“Bliss consultants, Goodwin Jewellers, Ambar Dalal and Torres Jewellers have duped thousands of investors of tens of thousands of crores by promising high returns or running totally fraudulent schemes. 

 

Action has been taken against some, some are on bail and others are absconding. There are several Ponzi scheme operators duping investors who are still active and action needs to be taken by the Police.

Hegde has requested the Hon CM to direct an immediate crack down on existing Ponzi scheme operators before they dupe more unsuspecting investors. 

 

Hegde has also requested the Hon CM to direct the police to initiate refund thru Court the monies of the Bliss consultant share scam from properties and monies he had freezed in the bank with the help of the Government. (ie approx Rs 170 crores). 

 

Hegde has also moved Court in this matter to initiate the refunds to the aggrieved investors.
