Karnataka Vishwakarma Association kicks off Mumbai’s 80th celebrations

Mumbai, Nov. 26 : Our association has grown for the last 80 years under the guidance of the elders with the continuous cooperation of the members. All the presidents have led the association in an efficient manner. The brothers of Vishwakarma Samaj are recognized for their achievements in all fields, we wish them to grow to greater heights and our association should also grow. This year the association has turned 80 and there are plans to celebrate the anniversary through different programs throughout the year. Karnataka Vishwakarma Association President Ravish G said that everyone’s cooperation is necessary for this. Acharya spoke.

 

Last Sunday (Nov. 24) he was speaking at Bharatratna Latamangeshkar Natyagriha, Meera Road East, after lighting the lamp for the 80th celebration of Karnataka Vishwakarma Association. As part of the opening ceremony, the drama "Kopparige" directed by the society’s artist Ashoka Kodyadka was organized for the members of the youth and women section of the association and all the workers who worked for the success of all these programs. Congratulations.

 

Former President Sadananda N Acharya, Kalyanpur speaking, said that as the association grows, the community members grow more united, when the community members participate in the various programs conducted by the association, our unity becomes stronger, the association wants your cooperation to develop our association,

 

Former president G T Acharya spoke and today the association is celebrating 80 years. We are all fortunate, our elders have formed an association to unite the society, which has been nurtured by all till today, in these 80 years there is a drop of sweat of thousands of social workers, all those who have served as presidents of the association join together in all the programs, this shows our unity. If the association wants to grow, there will be a lot of community service work behind it, let us all cooperate to make the 80th celebration happen in a grand manner, he said.

Acharya, Working President of Women’s Department Sujatha G. Acharya, Working President of Youth Department Sandesh J. Acharya and others were present.

 

As part of the cultural programme, Tulu drama "Kopparige" directed by artist-director Ashok Kodydka in association with Kodyadka Creations Mumbai was performed.

 

The meeting began with a prayer by the members of the women’s section. Ganesh Kumar made the introductory remarks, Secretary Prasad Acharya conducted the programme.
