Internal Evaluation of Women Empowerment Programme held at Sampada Udupi by KROSS Bangalore

Udupi: The Karnataka Regional Organization for Social Service (KROSS) organization of Bangalore organized Internal Evaluation of Women Empowerment Programme implemented under the supervision of Sampada Udupi in Karkala and Kaup Talukas. Harischandra, coordinator of  the Karawar. Diocesan Development Society (KDDC), Mrs. Ajita coordinator of Karnataka Integrated Development Society (KIDS) of Diocese of Puttur and  Mark D’Souza-member of Dakshina Kannada Rural Development Society(DKRDS) conducted the Internal Evaluation.

 

The internal evaluation comprised of checking of admission at the organizational level and gender equality.  The evaluators held interviews with two members each of Manini Rajya Okkuta and Sugamya Zilla Okkuta. During the two days of evaluation the evaluators held interviews with the representatives of Shirva and Karkala Okkuta, four Mahasanghas, five families, five self-employed family members and three animators. After reviewing the programme of women empowerment, they gave useful suggestions to improve the steps that can be taken to enhance the empowerment of women. 

During the two days long Internal Evaluation programme on 14 and 15 November 2024, the Executive Director of Sampada Udupi-Rev. Fr. Reginald Pinto, Coordinator Stanley Fernandes, Animators  Mrs. Irene, Mrs. Jacintha, Annet Priya, Nancy Noronha were present.
