Bantwala: Congress-SDPI alliance continued as expected in Bantwala municipality, Vasu Pujari Loretto of Congress was elected as the new president and Monish Ali Pilippet of SDPI was elected as the vice president.

SDPI Monish Ali and BJP’s Hariprasad had filed their nomination papers for the post of Vice President. SDPI stepped back from the post of president as the Congress took a smart step without submitting nomination papers for the post of vice president.
