Udupi, 09 Mar 2024: Atrocities on women cannot be done in a single phase and all men need to be sympathetic towards women said Prof. M L Samaga, former Principal, MGM College, Udupi. He was speaking in a program organised on international women’s day in Milagres College Kallianpur Udupi. The more educated we are, the more humane we should be, he urged.

 

Dr Vincent Alva the Principal of the college introduced Mr Naada Maninalkooru who was performing ’Kathala Haadu’, a saga of songs sung and spoken.

 

Introducing Mr Naada Maninalkooru, an unique artist Dr Vincent Alva said Mr Naada Maninalkooru is different, unique and special compared to the dominating DJ world, which we all appreciate.

 

 

Very Rev. Valerian Mendonca, Correspondent of Milagres Institutions, Dr Gerald Pinto, former Principal, Prof Sophia Dias, college Vice Principal, Prof. Annamma, alumni and PTA members were present.

 

Students and teachers lit the entire campus with oil lamps in honour of women’s day.
