The Association members of Udupi zone, conducted a massive bike rally in the main streets of Udupi and through the Deputy Commissioner, they submitted their petition to the President of India and thus demonstrated their support to Anna Hazare and showed that they are against the corruption.

In the petition the members of Association expressed their displeasure on the ruling leaders for their failure in running the country, failure in fulfilling the dreams of the large number of freedom fighters who worked hard and even some of them lost their lives in the process of getting the Independence to the country after the tough, long and continuous fight for the freedom.

There is a need to take a strong stand to eliminate the demon of corruption. The step taken by Anna Hazare on this direction is appreciable. But the unwanted developments being caused is growing the impatiens of people. This might even turn into loosing the peace of the society. Therefore, the central government should not cause these unwanted developments and they should once again review the demands set forward by Anna Hazare, mentioned in the petition.

In the rally which began in front of the Udupi City Clock tower, hundreds of professional photographers had participated. The rally went through K.M. Marg, Court Road, Big Bazar, Government Hospital, Brahmagiri Road and then went to Deputy Commissioners office and submitted the petition.

Congratulations! to all the photographers for the great work they are doing and nice to see our Anil among them. Photography is one of the best avenues for expressing one s emotion and style in portraying life s priceless feelings. Photographs reach out through the years and grant us glimpses into that one moment in time that cannot be forgotten or taken away.
