Brahmavara: Distinctive reward from devotional service – Swameeji

Brahmavara, 17 July 2011: Human always looks forward for the happiness, but most of his time he spends for the daily activities and loses peace of mind with the turmoil of life. Without any obligation and with the devotional service he can get distinctive reward and can be happy, said Shrimad Shivananda Saraswathi Swameeji – Yati of Shri Sansthana Gowdapadacharya Kaivalya Mutt.
He was giving the asheervachana on Friday at Shri Laxmivenkataramana Temple in the religious program conducted on the occasion of “Chathurmasya Vratha”. Only just earning wealth is not the true life. By earning the wealth within the religious boundaries and then contribute to the service and for the purpose of others, then the benefit of that can be received for generations, he said. Guru – Shishya tradition is in practice from the ancient time he said and called upon all the Shishyas to participate in this special anustana.
Chathurmasya Samithi Hon. President H. Dinesh Nayak gave introductory speech. On this occasion Swameeji felicitated K. L. Jagadish Pai – Retired Director of Canara Bank who has also been a donor. Other guests and dignitaries present in the program are; Kaivalya Mutt Mandali member Dilip Gayathonde, Anil Borkar of Goa Shanthadurga Temple, Palli Adapadi Kshethra Trustee Pundalika Nayak, Gokuladas Nayak of Municipal Corporation Udupi and others.
