Rotary Club, Manipur Distributes Free Books to 10th Std. Students of St. Lawrence HS

Udupi/M’Belle, 04 Sep 2021: The Rotary Club, Manipura distributed free books to the students of 10th Std. of St. Lawrence Kannada Medium High School, Moodubelle under the ‘Vidhyasethu’ prgramme during a function organized on 3 September 2021 in St. Lawrence PU College Hall.

 

The function was presided over by Mrs. Ida Gibba D’Souza - President of the Rotary Club, Manipura. Fr. George D’Souza - Correspondent of St. Lawrence Educational Institutions was the chief guest. Sudhakar Poojary - President of Belle Grama Panchayat was present. John Sequeira - Secretary of the Rotary Club, Manipura, Srinivas Rao - Resource person, Larsen Edward D’Souza - Principal of St. Lawrence PU College and Mrs. Sunitha Kamath - Headmistress of St. Lawrence Kannada Medium High School were on the dais.

 

 

Mrs. Ida Gibba D’Souza welcomed the guests and introduced them to the audience. Srinivas rao explained the ‘Vidhyasethu’ programme. Fr. George D’Souza inaugurated the programme by lighting the lamp. In his message, Fr. George D’Souza said that students should make good use of the books that they receive from the Rotary Club, Manipura.

 

The dignitaries on the dais distributed the books to the students. Mrs. Sunitha Kamath proposed the vote of thanks. John Castelino compeered the programme. 

 

President of the Rotary Manipura Trust Rt. Sakharam Shetty and members of the Rotary Club, Manipura were present.
