Brahmavara, 04 July 2011: Little Rock Indian School Brahmavara had organized a program called “Good English for the bright future”. This program is organized for Kannada medium students, to communicate easily in English language and in this program they started with the 8th standard students of V. K. R. Acharya Memorial High School, Kunjalu.
The program was inaugurated by Prof. Mathew C. Ninan – Principal of Little Rock School. Upon inauguration he spoke and said that, in today’s world English language is not a question of prestige but is one of the necessary things of life. It is sad that the least privileged in the society are not able to get the opportunity to learn this language. The governments are not giving the deserved importance to the learning of English, which has weakened the possibilities of the least privileged to learn English. So it is better to leave the choice of choosing the language, to the parents, he expressed his opinion.
Kunjalu High School Headmaster Santhosh Kumar Shetty thanked Little Rock School for their generosity. Coordinator of the program Little Rock School Teacher Shaji Philip compeered the program. School Vice Principal Lali A. Mathew was also present on this occasion.

This is right step forward towards all round growth of the students. People should come out from the conservative mind and think about globolisation which will help the futre generation to take up thier career. Prof. Ninan is a gem of person and a very good orator. |
