Congress stages sit-in in support of Bharat Bundh called by agitating farmers’ against new Far

Mangaluru, 08 Dec 2020: The district Congress staged a sit-in in support of farmers’ ongoing agitation at the national capital New Delhi against new Farm Act at Nantoor Circle, at the intersection of national highways here on Tuesday December 8 morning. Karnataka former MLC Ivan D’Souza led the protest.

 

 

The stir was held to support Bharat Bundh called by all Kissan unions against BJP-led union government to scrap the new Farm Act alleging that it would favor multi national companies to open shops thereby privatize farm sector.

 

The veteran Congressmen, farmers fraternity, party activists were present.
