Udupi: Foundation Stone laid for the Renovation of the Entrance of Lions Club, Moodubelle

Moodubelle, 24 Aug 2020: The Lions Club of Moodubelle which is nearing the Silver Jubilee in two years has been in the forefront of various activities in Moodubelle and surrounding villages. The existing Lions Seva Bhavan was renovated two years ago with better facilities and aesthetic look.

 

There has been a feeling among the members of the Lions Club, Moodubelle to renovate the main entrance by widening and providing proper entrance door. With this view the foundation stone for the renovation of the main entrance of the Lions Seva Bhavan was laid on Monday, 24 August 2020 at 10 am by the Past Lions District Governor(PDG) Ln. Prof. Wilfred D’Souza, a native of Moodubelle who had donated land for the construction of the Lions Seva Bhavan.

 

The formal function of laying the foundation stone for the entrance of the Lions Seva Bhavan was attended by Ln. Stephen Castelino-Region Chairman, Ln. Elias D’Souza-Region Secretary,  Ln. Rajendra Shetty-Zone Chairman, Ln. Gerald Fernandes-District Leo Coordinator, Ln. Anil D’Mello-President of Lions Club, Moodubelle, Ln. Devdas Hebbar-Secretary of Lions Club, Moodubelle, Leo. In his brief address, Ln. Wilfred D’Souza appreciated the renovation work undertaken by the Lions Club of Moodubelle and assured additional land for the construction of a kitchen block and parking space.

 

Speaking on this occasion, Ln. Stephen Castelino, Region Chairman assured his cooperation and support to the activities of the Lions Club of Moodubelle.

 

Ln. Gerald Fernandes welcomed the gathering. Ln. Devdas Hebbar proposed the vote of thanks and compeered the programme.
