Rotary governor Dr. Ravi Appaji visits Shirva

Shirva, 22 February 2010: Dr. Ravi Appaji, the Rotary Governor of Rotary District 3180 along with the Assistant Governor of Zone III, Rtn. Satish Rao visited Shirva on Saturday, 20th February 2010. He was welcomed by the President and members of the Rotary Club of Shirva.
Dr. Ravi Appaji inaugurated the Information Board put up by the Shirva Police Station and the Rotary Club of Shirva. He also donated water filters to the hostel near Shirva where backward community students reside and study. Thereafter, he also inaugurated free electricity fittings and connection to the houses of below poverty line card holders in Pamboor. Dr. Ravi Appaji conducted Club Assembly for Shirva Rotary Directors and members.
At the public function held at the Saud Sabha Bhavan Church Hall Shirva at 7pm, Mr.Wilfred Gomes and Mr.Venkatraman Bhat were honoured by Dr. Ravi appaji. The Anganwadi School was given first aid kit and prizes were distributed to the winners of the essay competition. Nearly 150 invitees were present for the function.
