Belman: Feast of St. Antony celebrated at Munjerpalke shrine

Belman, 13 June 2011: As a prelude to the feast of St. Antony, the Bishop of Mangalore, Dr. Aloysius Paul D’Souza celebrate Eucharistic Mass on Sunday, June 12, 2011 at 6 pm and also laid the foundation stone for a new shrine.
On Monday, June 13, 2011 the Dean of the Shirva Varado, Rev. Fr. Stany Tauro celebrated the feast mass along with ten other priests. Around three hundred people were present for the feast mass.

| Indeed Glory to God by the faithful of Manjerapalke and of the surroundings. St Antony was a great Priest who lived for the faithful and even today his saintly powers give relief to thousands of faithful who crave for his help in thier distress. This kind of celebrations would enlighten the spirit of the Catholics and help live in good spirits. May this type of honouring of the Lord continue for the good of Mankind. | |
