New Delhi: Air India pilots on Friday night (April 6, 2011) called off their strike after 10 days.

The government has agreed to reinstate the suspended pilots. It has also agreed to withdraw the recognition of the pilots’ union - Indian Commercial Pilots Association (ICPA).

The pilots will resume work after midnight.

Giving into the demands of the pilots, the government has said that the pay parity issue, which is the primary reason behind the strike, will be taken up by a committee which will submit its report by November.
