Udupi: Catholic Sabha organizes Workshop on online seat selection thro’ CET, NEET & COMEDK

Udupi, 18 May 2018: Catholic Sbha Udupi Pradesh® in association with MIlagres College, here organized workshop for the students who wrote CET, NEET, COMEDK exam 2018 and for their parents on seat selection process at audio visual room of Milagres College, here, on May 16.
It was inaugurated by Dr Vincent Alva, principal of the College.
Dr Gerald Pinto was the resource person. Information was also provided on alternate courses, financial help and scholarships.
Catholic Sabha Udupi Pradesh president Alwyn Quadras welcomed the gathering. Former president Elroy Crasto introduced the resource person. Secretary Maxim D Souza proposed vote of thanks. Mabel compered the programme. Santhosh Cornelio, deanery president was present.

| This is a good initiative by catholic sabha. Fr. Mullers Medical college has around 180 MBBS seats for christian minorities . But had 10 of the seats are filled by Mangalore or Udipi students. Bulk of the seats are bagged by students of the other districts. Being a institute of Mangalore CS should inform students how to do seat selection in Comedk as all the seats of Fr. Mullers are through Comedk. Most of the students are not aware that there are seats reserved fro christian minorities . Efforts should be made to enlighten the students of the procedures and encourage them to join the college. | |
