Emerging Kannada Movie Actor from Tulunadu “Sooryodaya”

Bantakal, 30 April 2011: Emerging Kannada movie actor Sooryodaya (Uday) is a popular actor who acted in more than hundred television serials. Having the natural personality made for an actor in negative role, but soft spoken, mild nature and with simple personality, Sooryodaya is an actor from Tulunadu. While he came to Bantakal Shri Durgaparameshwari Temple to attend a marriage ceremony of his friend on Friday, he shared the memories of his younger days and the experience in the Kannada movie field with Journalist B. Pundalika Marate, from Bellevision Media Network.

 

Born and brought up in Perampalli Udupi in the beautiful environment of Swarna River, by his father late Narayana P. Amin and mother Sankri N. Amin. Had his primery education at L.V.T. Higher Primery School Udupi Puttur, then P.U.C. at Milagres College Kallianpura and the graduation at Milagres College Kallianpura. He had interest in music and drama from the very young age. With the encouragement by Meenakshi Teacher, he started to act while he was in 2nd standard itself on stage for the first time. After this every year he acted in various roles and displayed his acting talent. Ravikiran who watched his acting in drama gave him a part in his picture.

 

He was identified with the group “Hejje Gejje” in Bangalore and performed more than one thousand street plays throughout Karnataka state on social problems, corruption, environmental affection, patriotism and other similar issues that spreads public awareness. He won the hearts of the movie lovers with the picture “Mugila Mallige”. The pictures “Suli” by Ravikiran productions and along with Darshan “Kitti” elevated his talent in the field of arts. Vikram, Thada Kaidi, Lankesh Pathrike pictures added cloured feathers to his acting career.

 

 

 

 

His acting along with senior actor Shivaraj Kumar and Devaraj was greatly appreciated. The movies Ramasethu, Swayamkrishi acted by him are ready for the release. Sooryodaya with his acting skills impressed Hindi actor Amarishpuri and Kannada actor Dr. Raj Kumar. When asked about the happiest moment, he immediately replied that it is when the people watched his serials with full house.

 

Along with his acting career he has also explored his skills in writing. He has mastered the Tulu script. “Baravuda Jeetige” a Tulu book written by him has been released by Shrikshethra Darmastala Trustee Dr. D. Virendra Hegde. Another book “Bhaktimanthra-Janaganamana” which explains the simple meanings of the National Anthem with detailed specialty of every word has been published in thirteen languages including English.

 

He will be in the lead role in the movie “Parba” which will get into set soon. Currently he lives in Bangalore along with his wife Renuka, elder son Mayura (4th standard) and younger son Yashas (2nd standard). He says that currently he will be living in Bangalore for his work and career, but later the whole life he wants to live in his native village. We wish our native actor to become multi language actor and elevate to great success in the days to come.
