Udupi: Waiting for bus will be cool experience from now

Udupi, 26 March 2011: It is usual to hear comments such as “it is tough waiting for the bus, it is difficult to pass the time in the bus stand” etc, from the passengers who are waiting for bus in Udupi bus stand. But, may be there will not be such comments in future as this bus stand is going to get air conditioned.
Udupi City Corporation has already got constructed one bus stop at the place where buses are departing to Mangalore. This bus stop is air conditioned and also has other facilities such as ATM centre and coffee shop.
As the summer heat is increasing these days, there is no doubt that this air conditioned bus stop will attract passengers and even the passerby. It has 18 seats, in which passengers can relax comfortably and wait for the bus.
Harish Bharadwaj of Bharadwaj Enterprises Manipal had constructed this bus stop who shall also maintain it. This air conditioned bus stand will be inaugurated today 26th March 2011 by Minister Dr. V. S. Acharya in the evening 05.00 pm.
