Pernankila: Basic Facilities in Koraga Community Colonies

Pernankila, Moodubelle, 24 March 2011: “Basic facilities and financial development programs will be provided in Koraga Community Colonies” said Urmila – Project Reconciliation Officer of Udupi Girijana Development Project. She was speaking and giving information on the various projects by the government in the public function at Pernankila Kenakunja Marathi Samaja Mandir organized by Scheduled Caste Development Directorate, Udupi Girijana Development Project on Tuesday.
She said that the government is emphasizing on the development of the Adivasi Community Gramas of the District and providing the scholarships to the students of the Scheduled Castes. For the educational development of the students of Scheduled Castes, Ashrama Schools have been established at Vadera Hobali, Baindur, Ardi of Kundapura, Hebri, Bandimata of Karkala and Bannanje of Udupi.
Jilla Panchayath Member Upendra Nayak, Kodibettu Grama Panchayath Member Shivananda Nayak, Rama Nayak, Arun Shetty, Devaraya Nayak and Krishna Kulal Varvadi were present on the occasion. Grama Panchayath Former Member Henry Fernandes welcomed the guests and the gathering. BJP Sthaniya Samithi President Sadananda Prabhu proposed vote of thanks.
