Mumbai: Bharat Co-op Bank opens 99th branch at Matunga (E)

Mumbai, 19 Aug 2016: Bharat Co-operative Bank (Mumbai) Limited opened its 99th branch at Jamnadas Mansion, Laxminarayana Lane, Matunga (East), here on Thursday August 18. 

 

The Bank chairman Jaya C Suvarna inaugurated the new branch by cutting the ribbon.

 

Jamnadas Mansion landlord Khimji Bai Shah, Mumbai H advocate and Gurudeva Seva Balaga – Maharashtra® president Kadandale Parari Prakash L Shetty inaugurated the branch by lighting the lamp.

 

 

Satish R Nayak, trustee of Indian Education Society, Dadar, here and convener of GSB Seva Mandal, Kings Circle, here was the chief guest of the occasion.

 

The Bank deputy chairperson advocate Rohini J Salian inaugurated the ATM kiosk, while director K N Suvarna inaugurated the safe deposit lockers.

 

Mysuru Association Mumbai president K Manjunatayya, Billawa Chamber of Commerce and Industry director D B Amin, Mumbai Kannada Sangha president G S Nayak, entrepreneurs Prakash Agarwal, Shantilal Bhatia, Prasad Kotian, Sameer Patel, Bharat Bank former director Raja V Salian, social activist Sneha Prabhu and Prabha N Suvarna also spoke on the occasion.

The Vedic celebrants Ulloor Dhananjay Shanti and Ulloor Shekar Shanti performed the religious tires at the new branh, while Gangadhar Kallady distributed the prasadams. Jayanand P Poojary and Shobha Poojary couple, Anil Poojary was present through puja celebrations.

 

The Bank head of development department Mohandas Hejmady welcomed the gathering and compered the programme. Snehalata Anchan proposed vote of thanks.
