He pointed out that other communities have built their own organizations based on caste, language and religion and have made great progress in political, economic, social and cultural spheres.  Catholic Sabha, since its inception has grown in membership number and strength and has been providing a number of services to Catholic Community through health cards, helping to avail government facilities and funds as well as scholarships to thousands of students. In modern times there are various forces which are inimical to Christians, hence it is important that the Catholic Sabha has to be strengthened to provide security and protection to Christian communities. Dr. Thomas Quadros emphasized the slogan that Catholic Sabha is our heritage and it is our mother.

In his own inimitable witty style, Ronald compared the children on olden days and modern times giving anecdotes from his own child and adulthood.  Stressing on the relationship between the clergy and laity, Ronald said that both are not separate units but a united force. He further said that the Bishop of Udupi has a wider vision for the laity as he has involved lay people in four out of 18 Commissions of the Diocese. The new diocese has provided a vast new canvas on which the Catholic Sabha can draw the painting as it wishes, meaning thereby, that the Catholic Sabha has huge opportunities to chart its own course in the interest of the Catholic Community. Ronald pointed out the importance of Christian values and prayers in laying a strong foundation for united Christian families and keeping the youth on the right path. I want to tell one of the negetive commenter against the catholic sabha, church and institutions just humbly request that instead spreading negetive about religions let him join and work for catholic sabha improvement bieng catholic or encourage their childrens to the relgious orders to bring back from satans clutches. Bieng the spectator is no use, its every catholics duty to give back to catholic faith just as PM Modi said allways dont ask from your nation, ask yourself what you can give for your nation.

I consider myself privileged to attend annual Samavesh of Catholic Sabha Udupi Pradesh. I read their Handbook and made some studies on their work since its initiation in 2013. I was impressed and touched by the dedication and hard work put in by its office bearers and laity under the spiritual guidance of their Patron and spiritual leaders. It is an entity run by laity with high level of efficiency and transparency. Their approach and efforts towards the society s need of connectivity and bridging looks spot on to me. There were hardly any religious order people involved in their mission apart from spiritual guidance and suggestions where needed. Bishop is striving hard to give more responsibility and leadership to laity. This is my personal opinion. Long Live catholic Sabha- Udupi Pardesh and all Catholic Sabha s of India under the principles of Christ!

I praise the Lord for the great annual meeting of the Catholic Sabha Udupi Diocese held on 12-06-2016. At the same time I regret that the Catholc Sabha has deviated from the main onjectives with which it was started and has failed yo achieve those objectives and many a catholics who have no voice are still suffering. Catholic Sabha has to have introspection and recollect its objectives and come out of the clutches of the church leadership who under the shadow of religion loot the church and squeeze the catholics, which is to be stopped. Catholic Sabha has to rise to the occasion and try to resolve such traingles and the contributions of Catholics for economic development when yield fruits, it must flow to the catholics without second thoughts, which is not happening. Still demand for money from the catholics for one or the other cause is not stopped. High handed harassment and dubious methods of administration still continuoes. It is the real Satan working against the catholics. Cry a halt for such happenings under the garb of religion. that is what is expected.
