Dubai: Emirates Pangalites, UAE conduct Blood donation drive

Dubai, 21 Feb 2016: Emirates Pangalites, UAE an association of Pangla Parishioners residing in UAE organized a Blood Donation Camp successfully. The 3rd Blood Donation Camp was organized under the slogan, ‘Give Blood, Give Life’ at the Latifa Hospital (Al Wasl) here on Friday February 19 from 11.30am to 2.30pm.
There were more than 100 people who participated in the drive and around 54 people could finally donate their blood. In one way it is good to come to the Centre for blood donation so that one can get to know the health condition and take care of it wisely and timely. Balakrishna Salian of Mogaveers UAE, the main man behind the blood donation camps in UAE also encouraged the event and exchanged his views with the donors.
Blood Donation is a part of every body’s life as it not only helps to save the patient who needs blood to survive and also helps the donor with a good health. More the blood you donate, healthier you remain. It also strengthens the bond of togetherness and we have a sense of being good human being to help the other human friend. It is part of community service and it is everyone’s responsibility to donate blood.
Emirates Pangalites was formed in 2002 and inaugurated on January 24, 2003 uniting all the Pangalites in UAE under one umbrella. Emirates Pangalites holding several charity noble deeds which helped the needy back in their parish Pangla such as Medical assistance, education, School books, uniforms, fees and Mid-day meal. EP also conducts various medical camps in Shankerpura in association with Rotary Club of Shankerpura, novel idea initiated by Pangalites many years ago and still continuing their mission to help the needy. Many orphanages and old age homes and their inmates are thankful and very grateful to EP for their relentless help, love, support and financial assistance.

You need to have concern and sympathy towards the society and then only one can organize events such as blood donation. It is easy to organize picnics and desert safaris. But it takes a lot of selfless hardwork and sincere efforts to work for the needy and support the downtrodden. | |

Great work by Pangalites. Looks like Belle people are still sleeping. When is the last time Belle people did such good act benefitting society rather than just arranging picnics and self enjoying and glorifying parties |
