Parichaya - Pamboor to present Ranga Saptaka, Kannada/Tulu/Konkani plays fromFeb 27 to Mar 5

Udupi, 20 Feb 2016: Parichaya – Pamboor, an association of likeminded people who are committed to sustain the art, literature and culture of homeland will be organizing, Ranga Saptaka, staging of drams in Kannada, Tulu and Konkani at Holy Cross parish grounds, Pamboor, near here from Sunday February 28 to Saturday March 5.
Manipal Academy of General Education administrator Dr H Shantaram will inaugurate Ranga Saptaka at Pamboor on Sunday February 28 at 6.00pm.
Pamboor parish priest Fr Paul Rego, retired Professor K Sridarmurti Huncha Shivamogga will be the chief guests of the occasion.
Parichaya – Pamboor honorary president Professor Vincent Alva will preside the programme.
Ranga Sangati, theater group from Mangaluru will stage Kannada play, Nemmadi Apartment Flat No 252 on Sunday at 7.00pm.
Sangama Kalivadaru – theater group from Manipal will present Tulu play, Chomana Dudi on Monday February 29. The theater director Udyavar Nagesh Kumar will be present.
Kalaakul Repertory from Mangaluru will present Konkani play, Santanam on Tuesday March 1. Mandd Sobhann® Mangaluru chairman Eric Ozario will be present on the occasion.
Chittara – theater group from Bengaluru will present Kannada play, Mariyamla Moorane Maduve on Wednesday March 2. The renowned sandalwood movie and TV serial actor, director Rajendra Karant Bengaluru will be present.
Rangabhoomi® - theater group from Udupi will present Tulu play, Kala Chakra on Thursday March 3. Tulu Koota® Udupi honorary president Dr Bhaskaranand Kumar Manipal will be present.
Rang Antarang – theater group from Mangaluru will present Konkani play, Parat Ek Pavtim, on Friday March 4. The award winning litterateur and playwright in 3 languages Catherine Rodrigues Katpady will be present.
Parichaya – Pamboor chairman Anil D’Sa Shankerpura will preside the valedictory function here on Saturday March 5 at 6.15pm.
The national award winning theater director Jeevanram Sullia will preside the programme.
Chittara – theater group from Bengaluru will present Kannada play, Paavbaji on the same occasion.
