Holy Rosary Church Alangar Celebrated Infant Jesus Feast

Moodubidri, 18 January 2011: Holy Rosary Church Alangar celebrated Infant Jesus feast on Sunday 16th of January 2011 at the church ground. On this occasion Bishop Dr. Isidore Fernandes of Allahabad inaugurated the newly installed transformer for the church and school. He also blessed new bus for the school. The new statue of infant Jesus brought from Prague in Czech Republic by the parish priest of Alangar was blessed and inaugurated by the bishop.
Most. Rev. Dr. Isidore Fernandes Bishop of Allahabad was the main celebrant of the holy Eucharistic mass. He was welcomed at the entrance of the main gate by the parish priest and parish council members. Around 45 priests from the surrounding parishes co-celebrated the mass. more than three thousand devotees were present. Free meal was organized for the devotees after the mass. The Abolem "Infant Jesus" Feast edition was released after the mass.

| Hearty congratulations to all the Parishioners and the Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Basil Vaz for the grand celebration of the Feast of "Infant Jesus". Fr. Vaz made every church center where ever he was , a ceentre of Holyness. Pakshikere, Bela and now Alangar. such leadership of devotion is the need of the hour to infuse Christ s spirit and religious unity among the faithful.
