Udupi: Talents galore at Singing Competition in Moodubelle

Udupi, 20 Jul 2015: ICYM Moodubelle in preparation for the Monthi Fest celebrations has successfully organized Singing Competition on Sunday, 19 July for the parishioners of Moodubelle. As expected, record numbers of 140 people participated in 10 age groups. In each category there will be separate prizes for male and female contestants.
Competitions were held at the English Medium school which started at 9.00 am and lasted up to 1.00 pm. Capuchin brothers from Kattingeri were the judges. One could see a lot of enthusiasm from all age groups as people were seen practicing for the competition in school corridors and in the school compound.
Results will be announced on Sunday 26 July in parish notice board. Entire event was co-ordinated and managed by Gladson Lloyd Alva and Joshal Dmello who are the cultural coordinators of ICYM Moodubelle under the leadership of ICYM president Nevil Dsouza.
