Auto Rickshaw Parking Facility Inaugurated at Kukkutte through the Generous Contribution of Mr. Vale

Balkunje: A new auto rickshaw parking facility was inaugurated at Kukkutte, under Balkunje Gram Panchayat, thanks to the generous donation from Mr. Valerian D’Souza, grandson of the late Modthine D’Souza of Kukkutte - Kolluru.

 

It’s a proud moment and honour as Mr. Valerian D’Souza as he himself inaugurated the rickshaw park during a simple yet meaningful ceremony. The event was presided over by Ms. Mamatha D. Poonja, President of the Balkunje Village  Panchayat.

 

The program witnessed the gracious presence of Shri Umanath Kotian, MLA of Mulki-Moodbidri constituency, and Mr. Dinesh Putran, President of the Mulki-Moodbidri Mandal.

Distinguished guests included Mr. Joseph Furtado of Kateel, Advocate Shashidhar Adyantaya, Mr. Ellappa Salian (President of the Milk Producers’ Cooperative Society), Mr. Rajesh Shetty (former Vice President of Aikala), Panchayat members Ms. Sujatha Prabhakar, Mr. Devdas Mallya, Ms. Indira Amin, and Mr. Vasanth, President of the Kukkutte-Kolluru Auto Drivers’ Association, among others.

 

Mr. Anand, member of the Balkunje Panchayat, warmly welcomed the gathering and efficiently anchored the program. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Mr. Uday Nayak.
