’Moran Sanddleli Pakam’ a book on Konkani poetry released

Mangalore, 29 December 2010: Mr. Paul Moras, President .Konkani writers Forum released a konkani poetry book, ’Moran Sanddleli Pakam’, written by Jo.Si. Siddakatte. "There is a need of standardization in Konkani."said Mr. Moras, the President of Konkani Writers Association. He appealed the gathering to fight against injustice through their writings.

 

Jo. Si. Siddakatte thanked all those who helped him to publish the book. ’Moran Sanddleli Pakam’ a book written by Jo. Si. Siddakatte, published by "Naman Ballok Jesu Prakashan" Mangalore.

 

 

Jo.Si. Siddakatte, hails from Siddakatte. He is a member of Karnataka.Goa province of the Order of the Discalced Carmelites doing his regency at the monastery, Margao, Goa. He has published his first book (collection of poems)- ’Pavsadhonu’ in the year 2008. He regularly contributes to various Konkani magazines.
