Moodubelle: Christmas celebration in St. Lawrence Composite PU College

Moodubelle, 24 December 2010: The annual Christmas programme was held in St. Lawrence Composite PU College on Friday, 24th December  2010 between 9.30 am to 12.30 pm. The programme started with prayer by high school students.

 

Students from all the classes of high school and PU College presented their programmes on this occasion in a competitive spirit. Out of these the following classes were declared to have won the prizes:

 

1.       First Prize: First Year Commerce
2.       Second Prize: Second Year Commerce
3.       Third Prize: First Year science

 

The Principal gave away the prizes to the winners.

 

As 24th December happened to be the birthday of Mrs.  Jacintha Nathalia Lobo, lecturer in Commece, she sponsored the cake to all the students and the staff members. Seven students were also felicitated on the day of their birthday.

 

 

Jasmine Maria Lobo who had won the third place  in the Science Seminar competition held in Mandya was given the certificate at this occasion.

 

The Christmas programme was arranged by the Neethi squad. The principal gave his Christmas message to the students and wished them a Happy Christmas and prosperous New Year-2011.
