Moodbidri: Veera Venkatesha Charitable Trust Mangalore distributes scholarship to 825 GSB students

Moodbidri, 14 Oct 2014: Sri Veera Venkatesha Charitable Trust®, promoted by Venkataramana temple, Car Street, Mangalore organized the distribution of scholarship programme for the students of GSB community of Moodbidri, at Sukratindra Kala Mandir of Venkataramana temple, here on Sunday October 12.
The temple chief priest Vedamurti M Harish Bhat inaugurated the programme by rendering prayers.
Speaking on the occasion, Sri Veera Venkatesha Charitable Trust® secretary T Ganapati Pai said that the Trust has been distributing scholarship to over 825 students of GSB community of Dakshina Kannada district worth Rs 18 lac to mark decennial celebration of Trust. It is being done to help the community students to excel in studies and foster tradition and customs and help others once they get gainful employment, said Ganapati.
Sri Veera Venkatesha Charitable Trust® trustees Radhakrishna Prabhu and Venkataramana, Hanumanta temple managing trustee Jnaneshwar Kalinga Pai, M Ashok Mallya, entrepreneur R Ravindra Pai were present.
G Umesh Pai welcomed the gathering. S Manoj Shenoy proposed vote of thanks. M Ganesh Kamat compered the programme.
