Kundapur, 1 Aug 2014: The torrential rains that has been lashing coastal district caused floods in farmlands across the taluk, on Friday August 1.

The historically famous Brahmi Durgaparameshwari temple at Kamalashile, near here was flooded by Kubja rivulet here on Friday morning.

Meanwhile, the people from neighbourhood are flocking to the temple, to witness the sacred  moment as the flood has touched the idol of Goddess Devi and to have a holy dip with the belief that their wish would be granted.
