Udupi Bar Association to hold state level ’Cultural Feast

Udupi, 08 Feb 2024: In order to give priorities to accelerate confidence, happiness and talents among the advocate community, Udupi Bar Association will be organizing a state level cultural feast at Udupi on February 10 and 11 at Udupi Courts premises for the state level advocates community.

 

Addressing a press conference held at Udupi Press Club here on Wednesday, February 7, Renold Praveen Kumar, President of Udupi Bar Association said that Karnataka High Court Hon’ble Chief Justice Sri P. S. Dinesh Kumar will inaugurate the Cultural feast at 10 am on February 10 at Udupi courts premises.

 

He said that Karnataka High Court Hon’ble Judge Mohammed Nawaz will preside over the inaugural programme. Karnataka High Court another Hon’ble judge Sri C. M. Joshi will be present during the programme as a chief guest. Karnataka Legislative Assembly speaker U T Kadhar will be an honorable guest during the occasion. Udupi Sessions and Civil Court chief justice Sri Shantaveera Shivappa will be present as a special guest.

 

 

Advocate Renald Praveen Kumar said that at 5pm on the same day, the cultural programmes will be presented by the Alvas Institutions students from Moodabidri.

 

He said that around 20 teams from State Bar Associations members will participate during the programme. The winning top team will be presented cash of Rs 33,333 and permanent award memento, for runners up team will be presented Rs 22,222 cash and permanent award memento and third team will be presented Rs 11,111 cash and permanent award memento. Meanwhile the presentation will be given to the best master of ceremony, special talent; Best disciplined presented team, best special talent and best important presentation. Meanwhile, mementos will be given to all participating Bar Associations during the programme.

 

The valedictory programme will be organized on the evening of February 11 at 6.30pm at court premises. Legislative Council opposition leader Kota Srinivas Poojary will address the gathering. Udupi 2nd Sessions and Justice Dinesh Hegde will preside over the programme. Karnataka State Advocates Parishet member Harish S will be the chief guest. Prizes will be distributed for the winners of various competitions.

 

Udupi Bar Association vice president Mithra Kumar, General Secretary Rajesh A R. Cultural secretary Santhosh Kumar Moodubelle, Sports secretary Sumith S Hegde, Treasurer Gangadhar H M., Raghavendra Shetty, Ananda Madivala, Sathish Poojary and others were present during the press meet.
